Cozy greetings, dear friends,
Make yourself a cup of tea or your favourite refreshing drink, and settle in for a cozy chat about one of my very favourite topics: Cottagecore. Whether you're new to the aesthetic or have been enjoying its magic for a while now, I hope this post brings you a bit of inspiration.
In this post:
Why Cottagecore Feels Like Home
I still remember the first time I stumbled upon the word Cottagecore.
It felt like someone had finally put a name to something I had carried quietly in my heart—a love for simple beauty, slow living, vintage charm, homey crafts, and that feeling of deep comfort we find in cozy corners, a warm cup of tea, homemade baking, and children's books.
Over time, what began as a trend online became something much deeper for me: a lifestyle, a creative outlet, and the foundation of the little world I’ve been building here with you.
While the dream of living in a quaint, cozy cottage in the countryside, surrounded by loved ones and nature, still lives in a quiet corner of my heart, I’ve come to accept that it might not be a realistic goal for me. That’s why it’s been so meaningful to realise that cottagecore is not about where you live, but how you live. It’s a feeling, a way of doing things, decorating with intention, and bringing magic and comfort to the mundane. For me, Cottagecore is almost synonymous with cozycore, and at its heart, it simply means making any space feel like a cozy cottage, no matter where you are.
That’s why I’m so excited (and a little stunned, to be honest!) to share that I was recently featured in a blog post by Redfin, a real estate company based in Seattle. Writer Emily Pascale invited me to contribute to their new article on tips to create a cozy home.
Whether you live in a countryside cottage in Stowe, VT, an apartment in Boston, MA, or a cozy home in Naperville, IL, check out this Redfin article I was featured in: 9 Tips to Create a Cozy Interior with a Cottagecore Aesthetic
It’s such a lovely article filled with ideas and quotes from several creators, and I feel truly honoured to be included. I never imagined my thoughts on creating cozy, magical spaces would be part of something like this! It’s a sweet little milestone I’ll treasure.
