Cozy setting with orange flowers, vintage decor, and a fruit-topped Vegan Banana Bread. Text reads "cozy little joys." Warm, rustic atmosphere.

Welcome to a new post, dear friends,

My latest video is a celebration of all the little things that make everyday life feel a bit more magical. From the scent of fresh banana bread from the oven to soft candlelight flickering, it’s a love letter to quiet joys and cozy moments.

Cozy Spring in the Kitchen: Fairy Banana Bread

Plate with fruits and flowers, pot with custard, flour jar, and potted plant on a wooden table. Cozy kitchen setting with a gingham cloth.

This recipe is simple yet comforting... and delicious! Let's add some flavour to this cozy spring day.

Vegan Banana Bread

  • 3 (or 2 large) overripe bananas

  • 1/3 cup oil

  • 1/3 cup raw sugar (unrefined)

  • 1 1/2 cups flour

  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • A pinch of salt

Mash the bananas, mix with oil and sugar, then fold in the dry ingredients.

Pour into a loaf tin and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 40 minutes or until golden.

Vegan Vanilla Custard

  • 2 cups vanilla-flavoured plant milk

  • ½ cup cornstarch

  • Optional: 1 tbsp sugar if the milk isn’t sweet

Whisk everything together in a saucepan over low heat until thickened.

Let it cool slightly before using.

To turn this simple loaf into a fairy-inspired dessert, I simply plated two generous slices, added homemade vanilla custard on top, and finished it with blueberries, strawberries, banana slices shaped like little flowers, and a few edible blooms.

It tasted delicious and made my soul happy!

DIY Bundles

I’ve also put together three new paper bundles filled with things I adore.

Each one has its own character and charm:

  • Fairy Garden – Dreamy florals, soft pinks, and whimsy.

  • Woodland Friends – Nature prints, forest colours, mushrooms, and leaves.

  • Cottage Academia – Vintage papers, muted tones, and themed die cuts.

These bundles include a mix of stickers, washi tape samples, lace, fabric scraps, book pages, and other crafting treasures.

They will soon be available on Vinted (currently for Germany, France & Italy), and I’m hoping to add similar options to my Etsy shop eventually, with affordable international shipping like I do for my postcards.

Creators I’ve Been Loving Lately

YouTube channel page with cozy, autumn-themed videos featuring books, pumpkins, and a woman in a beret. Vibrant, warm colors.

Recently, I discovered inspiring creators, and I’ve been enjoying their cozy videos and podcasts while working or doing chores.

Here are a few lovely souls you might enjoy, too:

  • The Book Leo – Bookish content and smart talks about interesting social and literary topics.

  • Leora Aileen – Cozy videos about books, reading, writing and more.

These creators have filled my days with comfort and inspiration, and I hope they do the same for you.

A Story That Found Me in a Dream

A few nights ago, I dreamt of a story title and character that felt so vivid and real, I woke up with a burning desire to write it. It’s a summer tale—unusual for me since I tend to write mostly autumnal pieces—but this one has a soft, cosy, fantasy feeling I can’t wait to explore. In my dream, the characters were anthropomorphic animals, but I am still not sure if I will keep it that way.

Would you be interested in reading it?

If you haven’t yet, you can still find my stories like The Dandelion Pact, Tulipberry Cottage, Autumny Diaries, and Thursdays at the Book Café.

Also, on my Patreon page, I post exclusive readings of my favourite books.
