🌷 Intro

There are moments when winter lingers — not outside, but within us.

Spring at Ms Honey’s Cottage was born from that feeling. A quiet story about letting go of what no longer serves us, about not carrying winter into spring, and about rediscovering magic in simple, earthly rituals.

In this video, Ms Honey, a kind and sensitive cottage witch who realises her magic has run out, learns that she does not need magic, potions or spells to move forward. Sometimes, cleaning a neglected corner, baking something comforting, or placing fresh flowers in a vase is more than enough... or, at least, a first step in a long journey.

🍪 Recipes from the Video

For this story, I chose two gentle, comforting bakes — simple, timeless, and perfect with tea.

🍪 Vegan Shortbread Cookies

Buttery, delicate, and melt-in-your-mouth.

Cookies in a lace-lined basket on a rustic table with flowers, a honey jar, and patterned cloths. Cozy and inviting kitchen setting.

Recipe by Nora Cooks:

You can adapt them with lemon zest, dried flowers, or a light dusting of powdered sugar for a cottage feel.

🍋 Vegan Lemon Lavender Scones

Soft, fragrant, and perfect for welcoming spring.

Scones with lavender on parchment paper, surrounded by a mug, floral teapot, flowers, and a crochet cloth on a checkered tablecloth.

I used this recipe by Labeless Nutrition, but instead of using rosemary, I chose lavender for garnishing.

The combination of lemon and lavender feels like stepping into a garden after rain.
